NBA Eastern Conference Semi-Finals Prediction

Hawks vs. Sixers: This will be an interesting series. You have a young Hawks team led by a rising all-star point guard in Trae Young versus a Sixers squad that appears to finally have all the pieces to make a strong playoff run. Trae Young has been phenomenal so far in these playoffs averaging a decent stat-line of 29.2 ppg and 9.8 apg, showing that the Hawks have a true commander of their offense. Trae has also had some great help in the form of Bogdan Bogdanovic, who has been killer on the three point line with a 3-pt % of .43, and Clint Capela, who has been a solid big man averaging a double-double with 10.0 ppg and 13.4 rpg. On the other side, you have a Sixers squad who has an MVP candidate in their all-star center Joel Embiid, averaging a decent stat-line of 24.0 ppg, 6.8 rpg, and 2.5 apg. Like Young, Embiid also has strong back-up, one of those pieces being Tobias Harris, who is having a strong playoff performance so far averaging a 25.0 ppg and 10.0 rpg, while also averaging a sold 3-pt. % of 38.1. Another key player on the Sixers is Ben Simmons who is averaging a near triple double, 14.8 ppg, 9.2 apg, and 10.2 rpg. Overall, this is going to be a battle between two strong teams that will do anything to continue their playoff run for their loyal fanbases, which will end in the Sixers proving to be stronger team in the end winning in six games. Earning that spot in the Eastern Conference finals that was taken away from them in 2019 by a miracle shot by Kawhi Leonard.
Bucks vs. Nets: In this matchup, you have a Bucks team that has finally found the defensive help that they have been missing versus an All-Star filled Nets squad that is looking to power their way through to the Eastern Conference Finals. Their playoff success so far is partly thanks to their main All-star center Giannis averaging a strong stat-line of 35.0 ppg, 5.0 apg, and 10.7 rpg. Many critics believe that the Bucks head coach, Mike Budenholzer, should lift the minutes limit for Giannis, and even though he has able to produce a solid stat line, two questions will always be in the air including could Giannis do even better without a limits restriction and is during the playoffs really the best time to hold back your star player. As for the aforementioned defensive help that has been added, that is thanks to Jrue Holiday who not only helps the offense by averaging a solid 9.0 apg, but is also averaging 1.8 spg and has made several key defensive plays showing how he’s one of the most best defensive minded guards in the league. Meanwhile, you have a strong Nets team headlined by the Power forward and guard duo of Kevin Durant and Kyrie Iriving, who combined for a total of 54 points, nearly half-the ending point total, in their game 1 win against this Bucks team. Even with one of their star guards, James Harden, being sidelined because of a hamstring injury, they have several all-stars that are more than willing to step up including Blake Griffin who performed a solid 18 points and 14 rebounds. Overall, this is going to be a entertaining series between two teams with strong offenses and key defensive players, ending with the Nets winning in five games and continuing the strong playoff run that all fans were hoping for, when this team was put together.
