It’s week 15 which means that bye weeks are officially over with and we’re at the home stretch. We’ll be breaking down every game this week and the playoff implications associated with them. Through 14 weeks, we’re 135-69-1 in predicting matchups.
Atlanta Falcons at Tampa Bay Buccaneers
This article was finished after this game was already concluded. Prior to this game, we did have the Tampa Bay Buccaneers winning with the return of Evans and McMillan on offense.
Winner: Tampa Bay Buccaneers
Cleveland Browns at Chicago Bears
This will be one of the coldest games of the weekend and we’re expecting it to be run-heavy. With that being said, the running combo of Swift and Minangai is better than Judkins, Sampson, and Ford. Shedeur looked good last week, but if he can repeat it twice in a row, he might really be the future of Cleveland. Chicago is not as good as their record indicates, but they get to skate by one more time against Cleveland.
Winner: Chicago Bears
Baltimore Ravens at Cincinnati Bengals
Time and time again, Baltimore has continued to disappoint us. They are 6-7, but they should easily be much better than that. Even with Lamar Jackson back, they are struggling on both sides of the ball. They face another struggling AFC North team in Cincinnati, but they are better now with the return of Joe Burrow. The snow will impact this game, but it’s Joe Burrow and the Bengals who get a much needed victory to boost morale.
Winner: Cincinnati Bengals
Los Angeles Chargers at Kansas City Chiefs
The Chargers & Chiefs played once already this year in Brazil with the Los Angeles Chargers getting the better of the Chiefs. The Chiefs are in desperation mode and a loss would almost guarantee them missing the playoffs. The Chiefs are known to pull miracles out of thin air and this is going to be a big one and get things closer to making the playoffs for yet another year.
Winner: Kansas City Chiefs
Buffalo Bills at New England Patriots
A showdown of two of the best teams in not only the AFC, but the entire NFL and they’re both in the AFC East. These two teams played once already in Buffalo with the Patriots winning the big road match. The last time the Patriots swept the Bills was when Tom Brady was under center and they are going to repeat that feat with Drake Maye in what will be a monumental win for the organization.
Winner: New England Patriots
Washington Commanders at New York Giants
The NFC East bottom dwellers are the Washington Commanders and the New York Giants .Between them, they have a combined 5 wins, worse than most teams have by themselves. The Commanders have played without Jayden Daniels for most of the season and the Giants have also had their young quarterback in Jaxson Dart miss some time too. For the Giants, Dart is back and is going to be the reason the Giants win this game.
Winner: New York Giants
Las Vegas Raiders at Philadelphia Eagles
The Eagles were upset by the Chargers last week at home, they will get a bounce back against the league’s worst team in the Raiders, who have now lost 7 straight games and are about to make that 8.
Winner: Philadelphia Eagles
New York Jets at Jacksonville Jaguars
The Jets have an uncertain quarterback situation and might need to send rookie Brady Cook for his start. He wasn’t terrible last week, but this is a big step up in competition with a top defense in Jacksonville. The Jaguars are the far superior team on both ends of the ball and this will be a cake walk of a matchup for them.
Winner: Jacksonville Jaguars
Arizona Cardinals at Houston Texans
Jacoby Brissett might be slinging the ball what feels like a hundred times per game, but that isn’t doing much because the rest of the Cardinals team is so bad. They’ve lost 10 of their last 11 games and there’s no end in sight for that, certainly not this weekend against the league’s #1 defense.
Winner: Houston Texans
Green Bay Packers at Denver Broncos
A defensive battle in Mile High with the Green Bay Packers and Denver Broncos squaring off. It’s the offenses that have been inconsistent, but Jordan Love has turned that around a bit and has been playing some of his best football lately. The Packers win the road game with Jordan Love’s arm bringing it home.
Winner: Green Bay Packers
Detroit Lions at Los Angeles Rams
The Lions and Rams are two good teams with good offenses and good defenses. The Rams have the homefield advantage which will help as the Lions are 3-3 on the road this year. The Lions will drop to 3-4 on the road with the Rams elite run defense keeping Sonic & Knuckles in check.
Winner: Los Angeles Rams
Carolina Panthers at New Orleans Saints
The Carolina Panthers are one of the most unpredictable teams in the NFL. They have massive victories over the Rams, Cowboys, and the Packers, but losses to the Cardinals and Saints. The Panthers could move into sole command of 1st place in the NFC South with a victory here and we think they’ll do just that and surprise everyone.
Winner: Carolina Panthers
Tennessee Titans at San Francisco 49ers
The Tennessee Titans finally got another win after losing 7 straight, but they still hold the league’s worst record. They’ll continue to do so for the foreseeable future and the 49ers will have one of the largest margins of victory for the week.
Winner: San Francisco 49ers
Indianapolis Colts at Seattle Seahawks
It’s likely that Philip Rivers, who hasn’t played in 5 years, is going to be starting at quarterback for the Indianapolis Colts this week. It was a great ride for the Colts until Daniel Jones went down. Rivers is not going to be the savior they need him to be and it’s unfortunate how their season is going to end the way it did. The Seahawks are absolutely going to demolish Rivers in his return.
Winner: Seattle Seahawks
Minnesota Vikings at Dallas Cowboys
The Vikings offense has been a joke this year and it’s due to the play at quarterback. They had a little bit of a spark with Carson Wentz, but with JJ McCarthy under center, this team cannot win football games against semi-decent teams, that includes the Cowboys.
Winner: Dallas Cowboys
Miami Dolphins at Pittsburgh Steelers
The Dolphins are on a 4-game win streak, but none of those games have been in the cold, a spot where Tua Tagovailoa struggles in his career. He’ll continue to struggle and the Dolphins get themselves eliminated from the playoffs with the loss.
