2025 NFL Week 12 Predictions

Week 12 is here and this week is a big week with playoff implications. Some teams with a lot on the line include the Kansas City Chiefs, the Pittsburgh Steelers, and the Carolina Panthers. We’ll be breaking down each of their matchups, along with every game across the league. Through 11 weeks, we’re 104-56-1 in predicting matchups.

Buffalo Bills at Houston Texans

The Texans might have a top defense, but the Bills offense has Josh Allen and he can be a difference maker. This article was posted after this game was concluded and we unfortunately had the Bills pulling off the road victory.

Winner: Buffalo Bills

Pittsburgh Steelers at Chicago Bears

The Chicago Bears are somehow 7-3 and might end up 8-3 by pure luck. The Pittsburgh Steelers will be without Aaron Rodgers and likely Jaylen Warren as well. Without them, the Steelers will need to rely on Mason Rudolph and Kenneth Gainwell. Both will be serviceable, but won’t be able to do any real damage. The Bears take advantage of the situation and move to 8-3.

Winner: Chicago Bears

New England Patriots at Cincinnati Bengals

The Patriots share the NFL’s best record with the Denver Broncos. With the Broncos on a bye, the Patriots should steamroll the Bengals and have sole command over the best record. The Bengals offense will struggle with Ja’Marr Chase suspended against the Patriots top-5 defense.

Winner: New England Patriots

New York Giants at Detroit Lions

The New York Giants are going to be without quarterback Jaxson Dart as he has not yet cleared concussion protocol. This is music to the Detroit Lions’ ears as they get a smackdown over Jameis Winston’s inconsistencies.

Winner: Detroit Lions

Minnesota Vikings at Green Bay Packers

Both JJ McCarthy and Jordan Love have been inconsistent this year. For JJ McCarthy in particular, this is not something the Vikings are thrilled with, considering the offensive weapons at his disposal. His struggles will continue against a tougher Packers defense.

Winner: Green Bay Packers

Seattle Seahawks at Tennessee Titans

It was a rough weekend last week for Sam Darnold as he threw a season-high 4 interceptions against their division-rival Los Angeles Rams. Sam Darnold and the Seahawks can breathe a little easier this week, facing the worst team in the league in the Tennessee Titans. There’s a reason this game has the largest spread and the Seahawks should cover it with ease.

Winner: Seattle Seahawks

Indianapolis Colts at Kansas City Chiefs

The Indianapolis Colts are coming off a bye and this will be a big test to see if teams treat them as a legitimate threat or not, entering the playoffs. The Chiefs need this win badly as their playoff hopes will shrink significantly with a loss. Daniel Jones has struggled against better teams and this might be a game that’s too high stakes for him. The Chiefs get a much needed win to get above .500 and stay in the playoff hunt.

Winner: Kansas City Chiefs

New York Jets at Baltimore Ravens

The New York Jets have announced that quarterback Tyrod Taylor will be getting the start. The Jets needed to do something as Justin Fields was not helping them at all. Taylor should bring some much needed improvement, but this team has no weapons for Taylor to throw the ball to. The Jets will struggle regardless of who is at quarterback and are going to get crushed by the Ravens.

Winner: Baltimore Ravens

Cleveland Browns at Las Vegas Raiders

Shedeur Sanders is getting his first career start as Dillon Gabriel did not clear concussion protocol. In the second half of the game he came in last week, he was 4-16, which was pitiful. It was apparent that Sanders did not get any reps with the first team. This week, he’ll have some practice, but this offense can’t do much with Sanders or Gabriel under center, even against the dismal Raiders.

Winner: Las Vegas Raiders

Jacksonville Jaguars at Arizona Cardinals

The quarterback duel is going to be an interesting one in this matchup. For Jacksonville, it’s the wildly shaky Trevor Lawrence vs. longtime backup Jacoby Brissett who has given this Cardinals offense new life. The problem for the Cardinals is their offensive line and this is something the Jaguars pass rush will expose.

Winner: Jacksonville Jaguars

Philadelphia Eagles at Dallas Cowboys

The Dallas Cowboys defense finally showed up against the Las Vegas Raiders. The question in everyone’s minds is was this due to them finally getting their act together or just because it was the Raiders. We side with the latter and the Cowboys defense goes back to doing Cowboys defense things and losing in an awful fashion.

Winner: Philadelphia Eagles

Atlanta Falcons at New Orleans Saints

Over the next month and a half, Kirk Cousins will have the chance to redeem himself. Despite not having Drake London, there’ll be no excuses for Kirk Cousins. This will be a prove-it game for him, if he wants a chance of being a starter again in the NFL. Kirk Cousins might win this game, but it won’t be because of his doing. It will be due to the lack of a run game from the Saints and the explosiveness of Bijan Robinson which sent them over the top.

Winner: Atlanta Falcons

Tampa Bay Buccaneers at Los Angeles Rams

This game could very well be a game we see in the playoffs. These two teams are both very solid, but for the Buccaneers, the injuries on offense are hurting them bad right now. This is going to be too tough of a matchup to win right now with a depleted roster, but healthy, we might get a different outcome if these two teams meet again in the postseason.

Winner: Los Angeles Rams

Carolina Panthers at San Francisco 49ers

It was a nice return to action last week for Brock Purdy as he helped the 49ers dominate the Arizona Cardinals. The 49ers should continue that streak of dominance with a commanding victory over a team that is surprisingly over .500 in the Carolina Panthers.

Winner: San Francisco 49ers
