We’re down to the final two months of the season. Through 10 weeks, the New England Patriots, Denver Broncos, and Indianapolis Colts hold the best records. The Patriots and Broncos play this week. Will they be able to stay atop? We’ll be breaking down their matchups along with the rest of the games across the league. Through 10 weeks, we’re 93-52-1 in predicting matchups.
New York Jets at New England Patriots
There’s a reason that the New England Patriots enter this week with an 8-2 record. The way that Drake Maye has been playing has been incredible. The Patriots should easily beat the Jets and enter week 12 with the standalone best record in the NFL.
Winner: New England Patriots
Washington Commanders at Miami Dolphins (Madrid)
Two teams that you would not think would each only have 3 wins entering this matchup are the Washington Commanders and the Miami Dolphins. Both teams have been hammered by injuries on both sides of the ball. The Dolphins are in better shape right now and with the suspension of DaRon Payne, this will help them on the ground game and come out on top in Madrid.
Winner: Miami Dolphins
Carolina Panthers at Atlanta Falcons
The last time the Carolina Panthers and Atlanta Falcons faced one another, the Carolina Panthers shut out the Atlanta Falcons, 30-0. This game will go the other way, but it won’t be as bad of a rout. The Atlanta Falcons are healthier and in desperation mode. Both will help them prevail and try to save their season.
Winner: Atlanta Falcons
Tampa Bay Buccaneers at Buffalo Bills
The Tampa Bay Buccaneers and Buffalo Bills, both enter this matchup, suffering bad losses in week 10. The Buccaneers were outplayed by Drake Maye, while the Bills suffered an embarrassing loss to the Miami Dolphins. The Bills loss was worse and they are pissed. The Bills are going to enter this game hungry and going to give it their all. The Bills also are a home team and that home field advantage is going to come into their favor. The Bills mafia prevails and the Bills bounce back big.
Winner: Buffalo Bills
Houston Texans at Tennessee Titans
The only team with one win remaining in the NFL is the Tennessee Titans. This game is one of their best shots at getting another win as the Houston Texans don’t have much of an offense. Unfortunately, for the Titans, they have zero offense. This will be a low scoring affair with the Texans defense having a field day against Cam Ward.
Winner: Houston Texans
Chicago Bears at Minnesota Vikings
The Minnesota Vikings are playing better than their record and the Chicago Bears are playing worse than their record. This game will even the ship and have the Vikings coming out on top.
Winner: Minnesota Vikings
Green Bay Packers at New York Giants
The Green Bay Packers win against great teams but lose against bad teams, it’s been an inconsistent ride for them thus far. This weekend, they have a bad team in the New York Giants. What the Green Bay Packers do have going for them is Jameis Winston will be getting his first start with quarterback Jaxson Dart out with a concussion. Winston can sling the ball, but is wildly inconsistent. It’s going to be an interesting matchup, but the experience of the Packers defense can manage Winston, giving them the bounce back win.
Winner: Green Bay Packers
Cincinnati Bengals at Pittsburgh Steelers
The Cincinnati Bengals are not out of any matchup they play. Their offense can keep up with the best of the best, but their defense is awful. The last time these two teams met, it was a shootout. We’re expecting the same outcome, another shootout, with Aaron Rodgers winning the Icy-Hot Bowl.
Winner: Pittsburgh Steelers
Los Angeles Chargers at Jacksonville Jaguars
The Los Angeles Chargers defense is hard to trust, but so is the Jacksonville Jaguars. The Jaguars were up 26-10 and lost to the Houston Texans, who were playing with a backup quarterback. The Chargers give me more confidence that if this game gets close, that Justin Herbert can help pull them away.
Winner: Los Angeles Chargers
Seattle Seahawks at Los Angeles Rams
In a NFC West heavyweight battle, the Seattle Seahawks visit the Los Angeles Rams. Both teams are 7-2 and this will be a huge matchup for playoff implications, to see who can potentially win the NFC West. Both Matthew Stafford and Sam Darnold are playing some of their best football. This game is going to be a thriller, but since only one team can win, we’re giving the edge to the Los Angeles Rams. The Rams have been near perfect on both sides of the ball and Matthew Stafford might be unstoppable right now, with only 2 interceptions on the year, compared to his 25 touchdowns.
Winner: Los Angeles Rams
San Francisco 49ers at Arizona Cardinals
The Arizona Cardinals are going to be without Kyler Murray for another week which actually might help them. Unfortunately, they are still without Trey Benson and Marvin Harrison Jr. With Trey McBride as their lone offensive weapon remaining, it’s going to be hard to do much without support. The 49ers take advantage of that and win, but it’s not pretty.
Winner: San Francisco 49ers
Baltimore Ravens at Cleveland Browns
The Baltimore Ravens are on a 3-win streak and if they win and the Steelers lose, they will be tied for the division lead. As long as Lamar Jackson is playing, the Baltimore Ravens can beat anybody, regardless of where it’s played. We love Lamar Jackson to roll over the Cleveland Browns this weekend and get back to .500, a feat that seemed impossible a month ago.
Winner: Baltimore Ravens
Kansas City Chiefs at Denver Broncos
The Denver Broncos might be 8-2, but their offense sure isn’t playing like it. The Broncos barely beat the Las Vegas Raiders, only scoring 10 points in a pitiful performance. The Chiefs defense is better and the Broncos offense needs to do better if they want to be taken as a legitimate threat. They are now also without running back JK Dobbins which does not help their case. The Chiefs are going to come into Mile High and show the Broncos who the real best team in the AFC West should be.
Winner: Kansas City Chiefs
Detroit Lions at Philadelphia Eagles
In a potential NFC Championship showdown, the Detroit Lions and Philadelphia Eagles square off. Both offenses have not been as high-powered this season as we would’ve expected them to be. They’ve been a bit hot and cold. The Lions just lost Sam LaPorta to the IR which is going to limit their pass attack. The Lions still have Sonic & Knuckles on the ground game, but the Eagles defense can hold their own. We’re going to give the edge to Saquon Barkley who is going to take over and be the difference maker for the Philadelphia Eagles.
Winner: Philadelphia Eagles
Dallas Cowboys at Las Vegas Raiders
The Dallas Cowboys had a bye in week 10 and it’s good that they did. Unfortunately, their 2nd-round pick in 2024, Marshawn Kneeland, tragically lost his life during their bye week. This will be their first game since that loss and this game will be played in honor of him. It’s going to be an emotional moment and the team will persevere for him.
