We’re 9 weeks through the year and entering the back half of the year. We’ll be breaking down every matchup in week 10. Through the first 9 weeks, we’re 85-46-1 in predicting matchups.
Las Vegas Raiders at Denver Broncos
The Denver Broncos should own the Las Vegas Raiders from both a defensive and offensive standpoint. This should help put the Broncos at the top of the NFL until other games take place this weekend.
Winner: Denver Broncos
Atlanta Falcons at Indianapolis Colts (Berlin)
The Indianapolis Colts head to Germany with a new member of their team, Ahmad “Sauce” Gardner, after the Colts swung a blockbuster deal for the All-Pro corner. The cornerback is going to make an impact from the get-go and fills the one weakness that the Colts team has. He’s going to be Wunderbar for the Colts as they pull off the international victory.
Winner: Indianapolis Colts
New York Giants at Chicago Bears
The games aren’t pretty, but the Chicago Bears continue to win games, being above .500, heading into the second half of the year. This is another game that they should win in an ugly way.
Winner: Chicago Bears
Buffalo Bills at Miami Dolphins
This game may be in Miami, but will practically be a home game for the Buffalo Bills as the Bills Mafia travels well. The Bills carry that momentum into a dominant victory over the Miami Dolphins.
Winner: Buffalo Bills
Baltimore Ravens at Minnesota Vikings
With Lamar Jackson in the lineup, the Baltimore Ravens can do anything. That includes beating the Minnesota Vikings on the road, after they came off beating the Detroit Lions on the road. The Ravens are about to do a complete 180 of their season and Lamar is going to lead them there.
Winner: Baltimore Ravens
Cleveland Browns at New York Jets
The New York Jets defense was already bad, now they are even worse after trading away their two best players in Quinnen Williams and Sauce Gardner. The Cleveland Browns offense ,one of the worst in the league, is about to show the Jets how bad of a decision that was to trade them away.
Winner: Cleveland Browns
New England Patriots at Tampa Bay Buccaneers
These two teams feel very evenly matched on paper. If this game was earlier in the year or later, we’d go with the New England Patriots. But with the Buccaneers coming off the bye and being well-rested, playing at home, we’re leaning with Baker and the Buccaneers.
Winner: Tampa Bay Buccaneers
New Orleans Saints at Carolina Panthers
The Carolina Panthers might be the surprise team of the year, boasting wins over the Green Bay Packers and Atlanta Falcons. The Panthers are 5-4 and should improve to 6-4, in the midst of a playoff berth with a win this weekend, over the NFL’s worst team, the New Orleans Saints.
Winner: Carolina Panthers
Jacksonville Jaguars at Houston Texans
Two disappointing AFC South teams matched up against one another. The Houston Texans are going to have Davis Mills starting at quarterback which could potentially give them a different energy that CJ Stroud hasn’t hit the mark on yet. But, with Davis Mills not fresh, the Jaguars can pull off a big win to help set them up for a potential wild card run.
Winner: Jacksonville Jaguars
Arizona Cardinals at Seattle Seahawks
There’s a reason that Sam Darnold’s name is in MVP conversations, he is playing some of his best football. Last year was not just a one-year wonder and he just got another addition into his arsenal with Rashid Shaheed. Shaheed should be happy to play with a real quarterback and Darnold should have another big performance in the rout of the Arizona Cardinals.
Winner: Seattle Seahawks
Los Angeles Rams at San Francisco 49ers
The 49ers are going to need to have Mac Jones play another game. The 49ers have just been absolutely depleted by injuries, but continue to find ways to win. They beat the Rams a few weeks ago on Thursday Night Football, but this one is going to have a different outcome with the Rams out for revenge and in a much healthier spot, with Puka Nacua playing again.
Winner: Los Angeles Rams
Detroit Lions at Washington Commanders
Without Jayden Daniels, the Commanders won’t be very competitive. Going against the Detroit Lions, they really won’t be competitive. The Lions roll over them in this blowout.
Winner: Detroit Lions
Pittsburgh Steelers at Los Angeles Chargers
We absolutely love Justin Herbert and he’s going to make a deep playoff run one year, but we’re unsure this is the year with how banged up this offensive line is.The Steelers are going to take advantage of the Chargers being down Slater and Alt to get a massive Sunday Night win.
Winner: Pittsburgh Steelers
Philadelphia Eagles at Green Bay Packers
The Green Bay Packers losing to the Carolina Panthers and Cleveland Browns this season, makes them very hard to trust, despite the big wins that they had. They’ve been exposed by some weak quarterbacks and the Eagles offense is starting to get clicking and is going to take full advantage of them. Without Tucker Kraft, the Packers offense is going to struggle to keep up.
