Week 7 is here and there is only one winless team remaining in the New York Jets. Will they get their first win or will they be winless for another week? We’ll be looking at their matchup and all matchups across the league. Through 6 weeks, we’re 57-33-1 in predicting matchups.
Pittsburgh Steelers at Cincinnati Bengals
As this article was posted after this game finished, we will not be going in-depth. We had the Steelers winning in a much more controlled game and were not expecting Joe Flacco & Ja’Marr Chase to connect the way they did.
Winner: Pittsburgh Steelers
Los Angeles Rams at Jacksonville Jaguars (London)
The Los Angeles Rams travel to London late, while the Jacksonville Jaguars have been there all week. Will the Jet Lag impact them at all? We’re in the camp that it won’t and Matthew Stafford gets the job done even without his top weapon Puka Nacua.
Winner: Los Angeles Rams
Las Vegas Raiders at Kansas City Chiefs
The return of Rashee Rice is here and he’s going to be just what the Kansas City Chiefs needed to get over the hump. The Chiefs are off to a 3-3 start with some struggles on offense, not due to the play of quarterback Patrick Mahomes. Rice is a game-changer and will instantly make this Chiefs offense explosive. The Raiders stand no chance against them.
Winner: Kansas City Chiefs
Miami Dolphins at Cleveland Browns
The weather in Cleveland is not going to be pretty which means both teams will be running the ball more. The Dolphins give up the most rushing yards per game and the Browns are going to capitalize on that. Browns ground and pound their way to get Dillon Gabriel his first victory as a starter.
Winner: Cleveland Browns
New England Patriots at Tennessee Titans
It’s Mike Vrabel’s return to Tennessee after the two parted ways. This is a redemption game for Vrabel and his squad is significantly superior. The Titans made the wrong coaching decisions and Vrabel will coach his Patriots squad to a 5-2 record.
Winner: New England Patriots
Carolina Panthers at New York Jets
The Carolina Panthers surprisingly are 3-3 after pulling off another upset win over the Dallas Cowboys. The Panthers are going to move to over .500 for the first time of the season as they get another ugly win over the New York Jets.
Winner: Carolina Panthers
New Orleans Saints at Chicago Bears
The Chicago Bears are rolling with 3 wins in a row. They’re going to make that 4 with an easy game at home against the visiting New Orleans Saints.
Winner: Chicago Bears
Philadelphia Eagles at Minnesota Vikings
The Eagles have dropped 2 straight after starting the year 4-0. The Vikings are coming off a bye and well-rested. The Vikings are healthy on defense and the Vikings will start Carson Wentz against his former team. Wentz has nothing but love for Philadelphia, but he also has love for the game and helps the Vikings give the Eagles their 3rd straight loss.
Winner: Minnesota Vikings
Indianapolis Colts at Los Angeles Chargers
Daniel Jones has the Indianapolis Colts atop the AFC with a 5-1 record and that includes some big games they’ve played already. This is another one and if they can pull it off, they need to be considered elite. Unfortunately, we like the Chargers and their defense at home to contain the Colts offense.
Winner: Los Angeles Chargers
New York Giants at Denver Broncos
Jaxson Dart is 2-1 as a starter and pulled off a massive win over division-rival and defending Super Bowl Champions, Philadelphia Eagles. The Eagles have been battered by injuries on defense though. A team that hasn’t, is the Denver Broncos who can just shut offenses down. The Broncos defense is too much for the inexperienced Dart and Giants offense to handle.
Winner: Denver Broncos
Green Bay Packers at Arizona Cardinals
The Arizona Cardinals have fallen apart after a 2-0 start. The Arziona Cardinals are terrible and are going to get lit up by the Green Bay Packers who are heating up. The Green Bay Packers defense shuts down Arizona on their way to the biggest victory of the week.
Winner: Green Bay Packers
Washington Commanders at Dallas Cowboys
The Cowboys might have the worst defense in the NFL and they now face last year’s offensive rookie of the year in Jayden Daniels, this won’t be pretty. The Commanders beat the Cowboys on the road and get back on track after their collapse last week.
Winner: Washington Commanders
Atlanta Falcons at San Francisco 49ers
The Atlanta Falcons are a tough team to predict, they lost to Carolina 30-0, but beat the Bills in a primetime matchup. They are playing in a primetime slot for another week against a battered up 49ers offense. The Falcons are giving up the fewest yards per game and that’s going to be tough for Mac Jones to overcome. The Falcons pull off another primetime upset.
Winner: Atlanta Falcons
Tampa Bay Buccaneers at Detroit Lions
The Tampa Bay Buccaneers entire offense is depleted except for Baker Mayfield. The Bucs are without Mike Evans, Chris Godwin, Emeka Egbuka, & Bucky Irving heading into this matchup. Baker has pulled off miracles before, but this Lions offense is too electric for even Baker to keep up with.
Winner: Detroit Lions
Houston Texans at Seattle Seahawks
The Texans offense might not be great this year and have no run game, but their defense has been the cream of the crop. The Texans are allowing the fewest points per game in the NFL and that’s not good for Sam Darnold. Darnold struggles against better defenses and plays like he is seeing ghosts. This will be another one of those games, as the Texans pull off the Monday Night upset.
