2024 NFL Week 14 Predictions

We’re down to the final week of the season with byes and the next 4 weeks after this will have a full slate of games. We’ll be breaking down the picks for this week’s 13 games. Through 13 weeks, we’re 138-57 in predicting games.

Green Bay Packers at Detroit Lions

The outcome of this game did not change how we felt about it. We had Detroit winning in a shootout, but did not expect the passing game for Green Bay to be as lackluster as it was. We expected a higher yardage day from Jordan Love & his receivers, especially Jayden Reed. We expected it to come down to the wire, but not as close as it did.

Winner: Detroit Lions

Jacksonville Jaguars at Tennessee Titans

The Jaguars have shut down Trevor Lawrence for the season and we’ll experience more of the Mac Jones show which has been even worse. There’s a reason Jones lost his starting job in New England. Will Levis continues to improve and shines against one of the worst defenses in the league.

Winner: Tennessee Titans

New York Jets at Miami Dolphins

The Dolphins need to win out to have a chance at making the playoffs and it starts with this bounce back game against the Jets. It’s a fact the Dolphins don’t play well in cold weather which is what led to their poor outing in Green Bay & now they are back in the Miami sun and are going to light up the Jets.

Winner: Miami Dolphins

Atlanta Falcons at Minnesota Vikings

Kirk Cousins’ return to Minnesota is not going to be a pretty one. He’s been the worst quarterback in the league over the last 3 weeks as he’s thrown 0 touchdowns and 6 interceptions during that span. We expect him to bounce back, but still struggle and ultimately cost the Falcons the game. The Vikings continue to win close games which is what a team of their caliber needs to do to make the playoffs.

Winner: Minnesota Vikings

New Orleans Saints at New York Giants

The Giants have lost 7 games in a row and are also 0-6 at home on the season. All odds are against them to do much of anything for the rest of the year. Drew Lock will be making his 2nd straight start and sparked some life into the offense last week as he was also the leading rusher in the game. They should have Tyrone Tracy Jr back, but that still won’t be enough to compete with Alvin Kamara who is in store for one of his monster performances.

Winner: New Orleans Saints

Carolina Panthers at Philadelphia Eagles

The biggest favorites of the week are the Philadelphia Eagles. The Eagles can make this 10 wins in a row and should do so with ease. The Panthers might have kept their last two games close against Tampa Bay & Kansas City, but the Eagles are in a different league than those two and should wipe the floor with Carolina.

Winner: Philadelphia Eagles

Cleveland Browns at Pittsburgh Steelers

The Browns got the real Jameis Winston experience as he threw for almost 500 yards, but also threw 3 interceptions with two of those being pick sixes that cost them the game. The Steelers have a top 10 defense on the year and are going to make things difficult for Jameis.

Winner: Pittsburgh Steelers

Las Vegas Raiders at Tampa Bay Buccaneers

The Buccaneers barely beat the Carolina Panthers in what was an ugly win last week. They face another bottom team, this time on their home turf and should fare better than they did against Carolina. The Raiders might have put up a fight against the Chiefs, but they haven’t shown that they can do that for 2 weeks in a row all season.

Winner: Tampa Bay Buccaneers

Seattle Seahawks at Arizona Cardinals

These two NFC West foes just faced two weeks ago and now will duke it out again for a share of the NFC West title. This game has serious playoff implications behind it and the winner will likely win the division. The Seahawks currently have the edge but the Cardinals are favorites in this game. The last time these two teams met, the Seahawks shut down the Cardinals offense and we’re expecting a similar result from the Seahawks defense to come up big. The defense makes up for the loss of Kenneth Walker on the offensive side.

Winner: Seattle Seahawks

Buffalo Bills at Los Angeles Rams

The Buffalo Bills are winners of 7 straight for a reason which is more wins than the Rams have in the entire season. The Bills are the hottest team in the AFC and should clear through the Rams before they have a mammoth showdown against the hottest team in the NFC next weekend.

Winner: Buffalo Bills

Chicago Bears at San Francisco 49ers

The Bears looked better after firing Matt Eberflus on Black Friday. The Bears have put up a fight the last few games as well and have a chance of being spoilers down the stretch. They are on a 6 game losing streak which we think they will snap. The 49ers are just too battered down by injuries and now lost both CMC and Jordan Mason for the season. Rookie Isaac Guerendo is going to step into the lead back role for the remainder of the year. Across other positions, Bosa is out and many are up in the air in a team that’s looking forward to healing up during the offseason. The Bears get a much needed win after a long streak of losing.

Winner: Chicago Bears

Los Angeles Chargers at Kansas City Chiefs

The Chiefs continue to win games by the skin of their teeth. They only have 3 games that were decided by more than one score, 2 of which were wins. The Chargers have been in 6 of those, 5 of which were wins. However, during each of those wins, the Chargers had running back JK Dobbins available. Dobbins is on IR & they also have Ladd McConkey who is likely to play hurt. Without those two weapons, Herbert has not been able to get this offense going. That’s another reason that the Chiefs just continue to get lucky in that fashion and win.

Winner: Kansas City Chiefs

Cincinnati Bengals at Dallas Cowboys

The Cowboys might have the better record, but the Bengals are the better team. Defensively, they are equally bad, offensively, these teams are on completely different levels. The Bengals are the best 4-8 team in the NFL and soon to be the best 5-8 team in the league after they put on a clinic against Dallas.

Winner: Cincinnati Bengals
