2024 NFL Week 12 Predictions: The Return of Tommy Cutlets

11 weeks down and there are zero undefeated teams remaining after the Chiefs fell to the Bills. We’re in a major bye week across the league as 6 teams have byes this week, so we’ll be breaking down the 13 games that are happening this weekend. Through 11 weeks, we’re 114-52 in predicting matchups.

Pittsburgh Steelers at Cleveland Browns

The Steelers lead the AFC North as they continue to just win football games. They beat the Ravens without needing to score a touchdown and shut down MVP & Offensive Player of the Year frontrunners in Lamar Jackson & Derrick Henry. The Browns aren’t going to put up much of a fight against the Steelers.

Winner: Pittsburgh Steelers

Minnesota Vikings at Chicago Bears

The Vikings offense got back on track in week 11 and the Bears seem to get worse each week after their 4-2 start to the season. The Bears have lost 4 straight games and Caleb Williams is looking like the 4th best quarterback in the class. That is not a good look and we don’t expect that to change in week 12.

Winner: Minnesota Vikings

Detroit Lions at Indianapolis Colts

Nothing is slowing this Detroit Lions team down and any team that stands in their way needs to be scared for their lives. After a 5 interception performance, Jared Goff followed that up with a very solid showing to steamroll the Jacksonville Jaguars. The Lions stay in the AFC South this week and the Colts aren’t ready for the freight train that’s about to hit them.

Winner: Detroit Lions

New England Patriots at Miami Dolphins

Tyreek Hill is postponing surgery on his wrist as the Dolphins playoff aspirations are still alive. They are on the outside looking in as they are 2 games out of a spot. They have one of the easier schedules remaining and winners of 2 straight, they should make it 3 straight with a nice win at home against New England.

Winner: Miami Dolphins

Tampa Bay Buccaneers at New York Giants

Both the Tampa Bay Buccaneers & New York Giants are coming off a bye, so they enter this game on even footing in terms of rest. The teams both have losing records, but feel like they are worlds apart in terms of where they stand for the rest of the season. The Buccaneers are on the outside of the playoff hunt and the Giants are in contention for a top 5 pick and committing to it after benching Daniel Jones. The Buccaneers get the win to get within one game of .500.

Winner: Tampa Bay Buccaneers

Dallas Cowboys at Washington Commanders

After losing 2 straight games against tough playoff teams, the Washington Commanders catch a break against a Dallas team that just wants the season to be over with. The Cowboys have been plagued by injuries this season, a lack of run game, & poor management all the way up to the top with Jerry Jones. The Commanders have a nice 3 game stretch against bottom feeder teams before a rematch against the Eagles on December 22nd which likely could be for the division.

Winner: Washington Commanders

Kansas City Chiefs at Carolina Panthers

The Chiefs finally lost their undefeated streak against the Buffalo Bills. They now face a bottom feeder team in Carolina and it’s going to make them look like the greatest team in football again. That is until they face a real opponent again in a few weeks.

Winner: Kansas City Chiefs

Tennessee Titans at Houston Texans

The Texans bounced back big and proved they are the best team in the state of Texas. With a win this week and a Colts loss, they can pull away with the AFC South and make it out of reach for the Colts to catch up. The Titans are no threat to the Texans and the Texans should get their 8th victory on the season.

Winner: Houston Texans

Denver Broncos at Las Vegas Raiders

The Broncos just shut down Kirko Chainz and Bijan Robinson. The Falcons were plumetted by the Broncos, but the real story of the game was not the defense holding that offense, but Bo Nix and the offense coming alive. The Broncos even were able to get a run game going against Atlanta. Playoffs are on the horizon for this Broncos team and another plummeting is in store for them in week 12.

Winner: Denver Broncos

San Francisco 49ers at Green Bay Packers

Both the San Francisco 49ers & Green Bay Packers play teams tough whether they win or lose. This game is going to be another hard fought battle & the Packers are looking for revenge after losing to the 49ers in the playoffs. The 49ers are battered with injuries right now and even if both Brock Purdy & George Kittle play, they’re not at 100% & the Packers are going to win this slugfest due to that.

Winner: Green Bay Packers

Arizona Cardinals at Seattle Seahawks

The Seahawks won a huge tough divisional matchup against the 49ers to go to 5-5 and the Cardinals are coming off a bye. The Seahawks aren’t a team that has it in them to win back to back matchups where they need to duke it out. The Cardinals take advantage coming off the bye to pull ahead in the division at 7-4 with losses to the remaining 3.

Winner: Arizona Cardinals

Philadelphia Eagles at Los Angeles Rams

After a 2-2 start, fans were calling for the firing of coach Nick Sirianni. After a 6 game win streak, many of those fans are silent. The Eagles have been dominant over the last month and looking to make a run back at the Super Bowl. They have a roster that can compete and the Rams are not a roadblock on their path to being 9-2 and still one game out of first in the NFC.

Winner: Philadelphia Eagles

Baltimore Ravens at Los Angeles Chargers

The Har”bowl” is upon us and not something we expected to see again after Jim made the decision to return to college, but with him back in the NFL, we get to see the brothers face each other once more. This time both coaches have their teams sitting with 7 wins. The Chargers defense has shown it can be stopped against the Bengals who put up 27 points. The Ravens are a team that can light up the scoreboard, but also have looked flat at other times. This week, we expect to see the team that can score and Derrick Henry bouncing back with a big performance on the ground.

Winner: Baltimore Ravens
