2024 NFL Week 10 Predictions

We are at week 10 of the NFL Season and we’re starting to see teams separate themselves from the pack. We’ll be looking at those contenders in their games and the remaining games across the league. Through 9 weeks, we have a 93-45 record in predicting matchups.

Cincinnati Bengals at Baltimore Ravens

The Bengals & Ravens both made statement wins in week 9 with both teams dropping 41 points on their opponents. The last time these two teams played, the Ravens put up 41 points in that game also against the Bengals 38. This should be another high scoring matchup with two offenses that are clicking and two pass defenses that are subpar. The Ravens are the more confident team right now and have the momentum on their side to win this game, but don’t count the Bengals out on making a run after this loss.

Winner: Baltimore Ravens

New York Giants at Carolina Panthers (Played in Germany)

The Giants and Panthers are facing off in Germany and will be played at 9:30 Eastern Time. It’s not worth waking up early on a Sunday to watch as both teams are 2-7 and have major issues on both sides of the ball. The biggest issue for each team lies with their quarterback play. With Daniel Jones not being consistent and Bryce Young appearing to be a bust. The Giants have put up more of a fight than the Panthers this year and that’s because they have more weapons at their disposal on offense.

Winner: New York Giants

New England Patriots at Chicago Bears

This will be the second matchup of rookie quarterbacks this year featuring Caleb Williams. The last game with that for Caleb Williams was in a loss to Jayden Daniels and the Commanders. This time, Caleb Williams gets the victory against a New England team that is struggling to do anything on offense. Drake Maye had his best game yet, but the team around him is just awful and they couldn’t even beat the Titans. Caleb Williams and the Bears bounce back to one game over .500.

Winner: Chicago Bears

Buffalo Bills at Indianapolis Colts

The Bills held off the Dolphins who were trying to pull off a big road win, but Tyler Bass saved the day and put the separation between the Bills and the rest of the AFC East even further. The Bills are the clear frontrunner for the division, but there’s some teams along the way that are also looking to make their own playoff destiny happen like the Colts. The Colts benched Anthony Richardson with the mindset of winning now and put Joe Flacco in. That seemed like the right move if the objective is winning now, but the Colts fell flat against Minnesota and makes us question if they should have let Richardson develop more. To start his career, Josh Allen had his own struggles, especially with completion rate much like Richardson, but the Colts are sitting at mediocrity. Josh Allen has moved past those struggles and is now the leading MVP candidate this year and is going to put the Bills up big early in this.

Winner: Buffalo Bills

Denver Broncos at Kansas City Chiefs

The Broncos were slaughtered by the Baltimore Ravens in a game we thought they could’ve played better. They were the biggest disappointment of week 9 for us and they’re getting an even tougher matchup against the undefeated Kansas City Chiefs. The Broncos slide continues and the Chiefs remain undefeated.

Winner: Kansas City Chiefs

Atlanta Falcons at New Orleans Saints

If the Buccaneers lose this week, the Atlanta Falcons will be able to run away with the NFC South. The Falcons already have won big the last couple weeks and now get a struggling New Orleans team who just to Carolina. The Falcons are going to put on another clinic with another big day from the man they paid the big bucks to win in Kirk Cousins.

Winner: Atlanta Falcons

San Francisco 49ers at Tampa Bay Buccaneers

The Buccaneers played well against the Chiefs despite the loss on Monday Night. They forced the Chiefs into overtime, but officiating once again helped Kansas City. The Buccaneers go back home now on a shortened week and face a San Francisco team that’s coming off a bye and is well rested. The 49ers and Buccaneers have both dealt with a plethora of injuries to core players on their teams. The 49ers are the healthier team at this point and might have CMC back. Even if he’s not back, we like the 49ers coming off the bye to win on the road.

Winner: San Francisco 49ers

Pittsburgh Steelers at Washington Commanders

It is a battle of offense vs. defense as the 3rd best offense in the league in Washington faces the 2nd best defense in the league in Pittsburgh. Both teams made moves at the trade deadline to improve their squads with the Steelers adding Mike Williams & Preston Smith. Meanwhile, the Commanders added defensive back Marshon Lattimore. Both good moves to set up each team to win now. We likely won’t see much from any of the 3 players in Sunday’s action, so excluding them from the mix, it’s going to be a battle. The Commanders haven’t faced a defense as good as Pittsurgh’s yet and it’s going to be a big test for rookie quarterback Jayden Daniels. The Steelers have duked out some wins in closely fought battles and this is going to be another one as the Steelers get a big win on the road with Jayden Daniels learning a lesson to not underestimate his opponent. Defense wins championships and that’s what puts the Steelers over the edge in this one.

Winner: Pittsburgh Steelers

Minnesota Vikings at Jacksonville Jaguars

After a 2 game skid, the Vikings got back in the win column with a win on primetime. There’s a reason why the Jaguars aren’t featured much in primetime and it’s simply because they’re just bad. The Jaguars have 2 wins this year against a Colts team trying to find its identity & a Patriots team that is awful. The Jaguars stay with 2 wins as they head into week 11 after the Vikings put another whomping on them.

Winner: Minnesota Vikings

Tennessee Titans at Los Angeles Chargers

Jameis Winston was no match for the Chargers elite defense. The Chargers defense has been one of the big surprises of the season as they currently allow the fewest points per game of any team. They now get to feast once again versus a Titans offense that needed overtime to beat the Patriots.

Winner: Los Angeles Chargers

Philadelphia Eagles at Dallas Cowboys

Even if Dak Prescott were healthy enough to play in this game, the Cowboys would lose this one. Cooper Rush is getting the start and we might even see Trey Lance get some action depending on Rush’s play. The Eagles win by double digits against a battered Cowboys team.

Winner: Philadelphia Eagles

New York Jets at Arizona Cardinals

Both the New York Jets & Arizona Cardinals had season saving wins this past week. Both needed them to get things back on track. This game will be one more in deciding how each team should treat the rest of their season. The Cardinals after coming off a commanding win against Chicago put the nail in the coffin for the Jets and make the Jets ownership realize that the problem stems from the play of their aging quarterback who’s not his old self anymore.

Winner: Arizona Cardinals

Detroit Lions at Houston Texans

No team in football is hotter than the Detroit Lions are right now. They have pulled off multiple huge wins this year on the road including beating a previously unbeaten Vikings team & knocking down Green Bay in Lambeau in harsh weather conditions. The Texans just lost to the Jets and CJ Stroud is having to learn how to play without star receivers Diggs & Collins. The Lions will take advantage of that & come up with yet another big road win on their incredible season.

Winner: Detroit Lions

Miami Dolphins at Los Angeles Rams

The Dolphins are on a 3 game losing streak & the Rams are on a 3 game winning streak. Will both of these streaks extend to 4 or will the Dolphins be able to pull out the victory and end them? The last 2 games the Dolphins have had Tua back and the offense has looked good, but the defense has collapsed allowing a field goal within the last 5 seconds of the game to lose twice in a row. If they held on, the Dolphins would be 4-4 and right in line with the Rams. The Rams offense has also looked better since Kupp & Nacua have been back and their defense has been an issue & they just traded away former all-pro corner Tre’Davious White at the trade deadline which is a blow to their secondary. The Dolphins save their season and move to 3-6 with 2 very winnable games after this one.

Winner: Miami Dolphins
