Each week we’ll break down wide receivers that should start in your fantasy lineup and wide receivers that would be better left on your bench. There are some players like Justin Jefferson & CeeDee Lamb who are matchup proof and should be in your starting lineups every week barring a major circumstance.
Wide Receivers to Start in Week 7:
Tee Higgins
The last 2 weeks, the Bengals finally seem to have found their rhythm in the passing game and Higgins has been a big benefactor from it. Last week, he had 7 receptions for 77 yards making him a solid play in PPR formats. He gets a favorable matchup against a weakened Browns secondary and should put up similar numbers.
Darnell Mooney & Drake London
The Atlanta Falcons play a Seahawks defense that has just fallen apart as of late. The Falcons are clicking on all fronts right now after winning some big divisional matchups. They continue riding the hot streak with a big win over Seattle and have some big performances from the receiving duo of Darnell Mooney & Drake London who benefit from another monster Kirk Cousins game.
Wide Receivers to Sit in Week 7:
George Pickens
With Russell Wilson starting, Pickens is going to see a lot more targets his way. Wilson is a more traditional passer than Fields and spreads the ball around to the whole offense. Pickens will see a significant uptick in value the remainder of the season, but in his first game with Wilson he gets an unfortunate draw and is going to be covered by Sauce Gardner. If it was almost any other defensive back, he’d be a go, but we don’t like this matchup.
Davante Adams & Amari Cooper
Both Davante Adams & Amari Cooper found new homes with better quarterbacks where they’ll have more success. Both are tempting to start in their first games, but with limited time to learn the offense, likelihood of seeing limited snaps, and uncertainty in what role they’ll play, we’re sitting both of them in their first games despite how tempting their matchups are.
