4 Teams Not Named New York Or New Orleans That Need To Trade For Davante Adams

Davante Adams wants out of Las Vegas and it’s no surprise that two of his top teams are the New York Jets & the New Orleans Saints to reunite with Aaron Rodgers or Derek Carr. What if Adams didn’t end with one of those teams, who else would be in the running? We’re breaking down 4 teams that would be good destinations for both Adams & why these teams should go after him.

Dallas Cowboys

Outside of CeeDee Lamb, there’s really not much for Dak Prescott to work with on the Cowboys offense. Jake Ferguson & Brandin Cooks have been dealing with injuries. The next best receiver is Jalen Tolbert who does not command #2 status in an offense. The running back room is subpar at best. The Cowboys could really benefit from a veteran presence that is healthy. This would also be great landing spot for Adams on his end as he doesn’t need to be the #1 guy anymore and can spend the last few years of his career in a solid #2 role with a playoff team.

Baltimore Ravens

The Baltimore Ravens brought veteran running back Derrick Henry into the mix and he was the leader in rushing yards through the first 5 weeks of the season. This was a great move by the Ravens organization and to continue the trend of bringing in veteran playmakers, making a move for Davante Adams could be the difference maker in taking this club to the next level.

Pittsburgh Steelers

Rookie Roman Wilson is set to make his debut this weekend which will provide some depth behind George Pickens. But even with Wilson in the equation, this wide receiver room is one of the weakest in the league. The #2 wide receiver on the Steelers is Calvin Austin II who only has 8 receptions on the season. This Steelers group needs to do better and what better than bringing in an all-pro who’s used to being the #1 guy.

Los Angeles Chargers

Staying in the AFC West, the Chargers could use another weapon for Justin Herbert. Davante Adams would bring a veteran presence that this offense desperately needs as Justin Herbert is still young, even though he feels & plays like he’s been in the league for a decade. Quentin Johnston and Ladd McConkey are in years 2 & 1. The lead back is JK Dobbins who’s still young, having someone like Adams could teach this offense a lot and that’s something that Coach Jim Harbaugh could benefit from.
