2023 NFL Week 15 Picks

We’re through 14 weeks and every single division title is up for grabs. This week, the 49ers are the lone team that can clinch their division title with a win or a loss from the Rams. Will that happen? We’ll be breaking down those two games and the remaining games across the league. Through 14 weeks, we’re 131-77 in predicting games.

Los Angeles Chargers at Las Vegas Raiders

Another week and another Thursday night disaster. This week, we get the Chargers starting Easton Stick after Herbert went down and the Raiders who don’t know who to start because none of their options are reliable. The Raiders only get the win because all of their quarterbacks have more experience than Stick and Stick gets his first start with a banged up wide receiver corps.

Winner: Las Vegas Raiders

Minnesota Vikings at Cincinnati Bengals

The Vikings-Raiders game last week was an embarrassment to the league as the Vikings won 3-0. It was a poor offensive showing once again for the Vikings who are now benching Josh Dobbs as the hype is dead. The Bengals backup quarterback situation looks better as Jake Browning has been a pleasant surprise and getting the Bengals winning at the right time. The Bengals should keep that winning streak alive and try to get themselves closer to a wild card spot.

Winner: Cincinnati Bengals

Pittsburgh Steelers at Indianapolis Colts

The Steelers thought Matt Canada was the problem and he’s not entirely, it’s the offense as a whole. The Steelers offense just isn’t producing anything significant and even though they get to face a Colts defense that is struggling, the Steelers offense just isn’t good. The Colts catch a break and get the win here.

Winner: Indianapolis Colts

Denver Broncos at Detroit Lions

The Detroit Lions are in a similar boat to the Philadelphia Eagles where they are losers of 2 of the last 3 games. Unlike the Eagles though, the Lions have lost to the Bears and the Packers in embarrassing fashion where the Eagles lost to two Super Bowl contenders. The Lions have been scoring well but their defense has been rough. This is giving the Denver Broncos who are winners of 6 of their last 7 games are going to give Detroit another loss and put Detroit out of contention for the #1 seed in the NFC.

Winner: Denver Broncos

Chicago Bears at Cleveland Browns

It might look weird to see Joe Flacco in a Browns uniform but he’s brought new life to this Browns offense that has been rather lackluster this year since Nick Chubb went down. Flacco has thrown for over 550 yards in his two starts and should reach over 800 yards for the year against a weak Chicago defense. Flacco might be the savior for the Browns in keeping them in the hunt to make a run in the playoffs and a team like Chicago isn’t going to do anything to stop them.

Winner: Cleveland Browns

Tampa Bay Buccaneers at Green Bay Packers

Two 6-7 teams that both are fighting for a playoff spot and a win could help strengthen their standing for one. It’s a Baker Mayfield vs. Jordan Love duel and we’re not excited for either to go out there. The Buccaneers and Packers offense both struggle to run the ball, so it’s up to Baker and Love who both have been serviceable this year, but nothing spectacular. We’re going to give the edge in this game to Green Bay’s defense to make some big plays late and help them pull out the victory.

Winner: Green Bay Packers

Houston Texans at Tennessee Titans

Odds are that CJ Stroud is going to miss this game and without Stroud, we’re not sure Davis Mills can keep them alive especially with how battered the rest of the offense is. The Will Levis Titans keep the magic alive after coming from behind from 14 points against Miami on the road to bring a huge blow to division rival Houston and their playoff hopes.

Winner: Tennessee Titans

New York Jets at Miami Dolphins

The Dolphins lost in a stunner after blowing a two touchdown lead with just minutes to go in the game. That loss was against Tennessee who has a rookie quarterback with a cannon of an arm, a Pro Bowl wide receiver in DeAndre Hopkins, and a tank at running back in Derrick Henry. They now get the Jets whose offense is non-existent without a quarterback like Rodgers in the mix. Dolphins bounce back and steamroll the Jets.

Winner: Miami Dolphins

Kansas City Chiefs at New England Patriots

The days of Bill Belichick in New England are dwindling as reports have come out that the two will part ways at the end of this season. New England currently boasts the second worst record in the NFL and it’s highly possible they don’t win another game this season. Belichick said he was focused on Kansas City, but he should be focused on figuring out what he’s going to do next because this game against Kansas City is going to be a practice for them.

Winner: Kansas City Chiefs

New York Giants at New Orleans Saints

The Giants have been winners of 3 straight games under undrafted rookie Tommy DeVito and he’s taken the NFL by storm along with his family for their Italian culture. The dream of being a starting quarterback in the NFL doesn’t end this weekend for DeVito but some of the hype might die down with a loss against New Orleans in what will arguably be their toughest test since DeVito’s taken over. We love DeVito but Kamara against defenses like the Giants is not a sight you want to see if you’re a Giants fan. Kamara is in store for one of his yearly 4 touchdown performances.

Winner: New Orleans Saints

Atlanta Falcons at Carolina Panthers

The Falcons might have 6 wins compared to the 1 win that Carolina has but Carolina very much has a chance in this game. The NFC South is a joke of a conference and when playing against one another, it’s anyone’s game. With Arthur Smith coaching the Falcons, any game that seems winnable can go the other direction which we think the Panthers can pull off the upset here. The Panthers have no reason for wanting to tank since they don’t own their draft pick so finishing the season with more than one win would be a desirable outcome and this game is one of their best chances of getting another win in the win column this year.

Winner: Carolina Panthers

Washington Commanders at Los Angeles Rams

The Washington Commanders are not a good team and that is why Sam Howell is top 5 in the NFL in passing yards because of how much they are playing behind from. The Rams are getting hot at the right time trying to sneak into the playoffs and we’re expecting another big game from Sam Howell as the Commanders are going to try to play catch up against the Rams offense.

Winner: Los Angeles Rams

San Francisco 49ers at Arizona Cardinals

The 49ers are on a tear with being winners of five straight games. The 3-10 Arizona Cardinals aren’t going to be the ones to stop their streak as the Niners should get six straight with ease. Next week will be the true test for a potential Super Bowl matchup against Baltimore.

Winner: San Francisco 49ers

Dallas Cowboys at Buffalo Bills

One of the most anticipated matchups of the weekend is the Dallas Cowboys at the Buffalo Bills. The Bills might only be 7-6 compared to the 10-3 record of the Cowboys but the Bills enter slight favorites and we know why. It’s because this time of year is when Josh Allen goes nuclear and the Bills offense plays at its peak. It’s going to be a shootout with one mvp candidate against another in Josh Allen vs. Dak Prescott who has been playing some of the best football of his career. Buffalo pulls out the thriller victory with Josh Allen pulling off some magic.

Winner: Buffalo Bills

Baltimore Ravens at Jacksonville Jaguars

The Baltimore Ravens currently boast the best record in the AFC while the Jaguars are in danger of losing their division lead to the Houston Texans or Indianapolis Colts who are right on their tails. We think that Ravens do pull off the win to separate themselves further from other teams in the AFC but this loss significantly hurts Jacksonville who previously had a firm grasp on the division title. The limited mobility of Trevor Lawrence is what is holding Jacksonville back from being the clear frontrunner in the AFC South.

Winner: Baltimore Ravens

Philadelphia Eagles at Seattle Seahawks

The Eagles have played two of the NFC heavyweights back to back and have lost both of those matchups. A lot of eyes are on the Eagles to prove they are legit contenders and they should get back on track with a win in primetime with a lot of visibility being on this game.

Winner: Philadelphia Eagles
