Each week we’ll break down one player that should start in your fantasy lineup and one that would be better left on the bench per position. There are players like Stefon Diggs and Tyreek Hill who are matchup proof and should be in your starting lineups every week barring a major circumstance.
Wide Receivers to Start:
Jordan Addison
Despite being activated off the injured reserve, Justin Jefferson will not return to action this weekend. This means more targets for Jordan Addison who has been stepping up big time while Jefferson has been out.
Terry McLaurin
The Commanders get an easy matchup against the Giants and that means another high yardage day for Sam Howell and the Commanders offense. Terry McLaurin benefits from Howell’s big game.
Tank Dell
During CJ Stroud’s tear, he has been going to fellow rookie Tank Dell while Nico Collins has been limited with injuries. Tank Dell has a connection with Stroud and it’s going to be another big game from the two rookies.
Wide Receivers to Sit:
Adam Thielen
The Panthers offense keeps getting worse and Thielen’s run as the best slot receiver in the league this year seems to be fading away. The Panthers now face the Cowboys who can completely shut down entire offenses, do not trust Thielen this week.
Amari Cooper
The Browns are rocking with Dorian Thompson-Robinson as the starter with Deshaun Watson out for the year. Last time he played, the entire offense looked awful. We’re not trusting anyone on the Browns offense right now including Amari Cooper.
George Pickens
The Steelers get a tough matchup against an elite Browns defense. The Steelers offense has been very hit or miss this year and it’s going to be a miss this weekend as Kenny Pickett struggles to hit his receivers.
