2023 Fantasy Football Week 11: Start Em’ or Sit Em’ Quarterbacks

Each week we’ll break down three players that should start in your fantasy lineup and three that would be better left on the bench per position. There are players like Patrick Mahomes & Lamar Jackson who are matchup proof and should be in your starting lineups every week barring a major circumstance.

Quarterbacks to Start:

Jordan Love

Jordan Love hasn’t lived up to the expectations we had for him this season, but a Chargers defense that is horrible against the pass gives him a chance to inflate his stats. Even if the Packers lose, Love should have his best game of the season.

Dak Prescott

Last week was proof that even when the Cowboys win big, they don’t go to the run early and still use the passing game which gave Dak a chance to rack up his stats. The Cowboys get another easy matchup against the Panthers where they should take care of them easily. We’re expecting a big day from Dak and the Cowboys offense. 

CJ Stroud

Not only the favorite for rookie of the year, but putting himself into the MVP conversation is CJ Stroud. Stroud has been on absolute tear as of late and he’s not slowing down anytime soon. Stroud is back at home against a 2-8 Arizona Cardinals team. It’s going to be another monster game from the rookie. 

Quarterbacks to Sit:

Trevor Lawrence

The Jags were completely shut down by the San Francisco 49ers last week and the offense looked nonexistent. The Jaguars play a Titans team that can put up a fight on defense. We expect the Jaguars to win, but it’s not going to come as easy and the offense is still going to struggle. 

Jared Goff

The Lions are 7-2 and one of the most surprising teams in all of football. They face the division rival Chicago Bears and should have another dominant performance. However, we think that’s going to come from their running back duo of David Montgomery and Jahmyr Gibbs and not Jared Goff. Goff is not going to need to throw the ball much with how much the Lions will be up early on.

Geno Smith

The Rams always seem to be in close matchups no matter how much they end up losing. The Rams defense should put some pressure on Geno Smith, especially with their all-pro defensive end Aaron Donald. Last time these two teams faced we were witness to the infamous meme of Geno Smith screaming with Aaron Donald rushing towards him. We’re expecting Geno Smith to have a lot of pressure and struggle as a result.
