Each week we’ll break down one player that should start in your fantasy lineup and one that would be better left on the bench per position. There are players like Stefon Diggs and Tyreek Hill who are matchup proof and should be in your starting lineups every week barring a major circumstance.
Wide Receivers to Start:
Jordan Addison
Since Justin Jefferson has been out, Jordan Addison has been putting up some serious numbers. He’s had double digit points over his last 3 games and is the #1 receiver in Jefferson’s absence. We’re rocking with Addison as a solid wide receiver 2, fringe wide receiver 1 as long as Jefferson is out.
DJ Moore
Despite undrafted rookie Tyson Bagent starting last week and DJ Moore not having the best fantasy game, he still saw his fair share of targets and racked up 8 receptions. DJ Moore is the normal go to receiver on this team this season to get the ball in the red zone, but last week it was Foreman who got all the red zone touches and racked up 3 touchdowns. This week, we don’t think Foreman will repeat that feat and Moore should get a touchdown and have another high target volume game.
Kendrick Bourne
The Patriots are going to be playing most of this game from behind against the high-powered Dolphins and that’s going to need them to turn to the passing game. Kendrick Bourne has sneakily been a reliable receiver for them over the last few weeks. With the game script being heavily reliant on the pass, we think Bourne is in for a lot of targets his way as the Patriots lead receiver.
Wide Receivers to Sit:
DeAndre Hopkins
With Ryan Tannehill being ruled out, the Titans are turning to both Malik Willis and Will Levis to play. We don’t trust either to be reliable starting quarterbacks and don’t know what this will mean for the Titans wide receiver group. We’re fading everyone on the Titans except for Derrick Henry who should see a larger workload as a result of Tannehill being out.
Marquise Brown
The Arizona Cardinals face one of the toughest pass defenses in the league in Baltimore. It’s going to be a long day for the Cardinals offense and Marquise Brown, despite being one of the lone bright spots on this Cardinals team, should see his worst performance of the season as the Ravens shut down the Cardinals.
Drake London
Drake London has been relatively solid over the last few weeks which means he’s in store for a game where he only gets one or two targets. The Atlanta Falcons offense has been so inconsistent, last week it was Bijan who stunned us with a blank due to a “headache”, this week it’s going to be Drake London who fails to show up largely due to Desmond Ridder’s play and Arthur Smith’s playcalling.
